Daily, I feed my corals using Polypop, Complete Reef Foods, and live phytoplankton. Weekly, I clean equipment, and every 15 days, I perform a 20% water change.
What are the ideal water parameters for your reef tank?
My target water parameters are as follows: Temperature: 25°C (77°F), pH: 8.1-8.4, Specific gravity: 35 PSU, NO3: 15-20 mg/l, Ca: 410 mg/l, Alk: 8.0 Dkh, Mg: 1380 mg/l, PO4: 0.08-0.10 mg/l.
How do you achieve good water quality in your tank?
I operate a UV lamp for 22 hours each day, use a CO2 scrubber connected to my skimmer, and have a chaeto reactor to help export nutrients and maintain high pH.
What type of lighting do you use for your reef tank?
I utilize a hybrid lighting system by AquaticLife, which includes 3 Radion G6 XR30 Blue LEDs from Ecotech Marine and 4 T5 ATI Blue Plus bulbs,
What is your lighting schedule?
I run the display lights for 6 hours with whites and blues on, followed by an additional 6 hours of full blue light.

I have four Aqua Illumination Nero 5 pumps and a Sicce Syncra SDC 9.0 return pump to maintain effective water movement throughout the tank.

I provide a varied diet consisting of Ocean Nutrition frozen foods like Mysis and Artemia, along with Formula One and Two pellets.
